Tour de France
Le Tour de France—this global iconic cycling brand with a 106 year heritage stands for one of the most difficult, strenuous, endurance sporting events of all time. MODA is building a global cycling business leveraging the Tour’s equity for bicycles, parts and accessories via a license with Cycle Force Group. The Tour is now positioned to extend from an “event” to the "Authority on all things cycling."
Snap-on
MODA licensed Coastal Boot 16 years ago to develop high quality performance-based footwear with the Snap-on brand. Today, it is an established brand sold through the Snap-on dealer network globally and in select retailers in North America.
National Trust
MODA developed a “brand” from America’s leading non-profit organization dedicated to saving and preserving our country’s diverse historic places. An excellent example of licensing framing a successful collaboration between licensor, licensee and retailer, licensed products inspired by America’s landmarks include historic paint colors and decorative moulding. Available exclusively at Lowe’s.
The New York Times
Via licensing, MODA extended The New York Times authority to a wine club. An innovative integration of traditional and new media, marketing and direct mail has resulted in a critical and commercial success. The New York Times Wine Club provides wines from the top regions of the world accompanied by Tasting Notes that includes related articles from The New York Times archives and is rated by an independent blind testing as having best wines of competitive wine clubs.
LYCRA®
MODA took the ingredient brand LYCRA® and made it a consumer brand in cosmetics on behalf of its client INVISTA (formerly DuPont). Licensed to Coty Cosmetics, this successful business is now entering its 8th year. LYCRA® products feature the benefits of LYCRA® (e.g. strength, resistance, last) and are available throughout the world where Rimmel and Astor cosmetics are sold.
