MODA Licensing Salutes Partner for America’s VetDogs®
July 6, 2010

Vo-Toys has been tapped by the Veteran’s K-9 Corps, and agent MODA Licensing, to produce a toy range and more under the America’s VetDogs license.

Vo-Toys will create toys made of rubber, nylon, plush, vinyl and canvas. In addition, the licensee will develop a range of summer items including flotation vests and toys, T-shirts, harnesses, grooming tools, ID tags, feeding bowls, travel accessories and pet containment merchandise. The products will be available during fourth quarter 2010 at pet specialty, mass retailers, supermarkets, farm and Ag stores, military PX’s, direct mail and e-commerce. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of items will go toward America’s VetDogs to help raise, train and match service dogs to U.S. troops.

“America’s VetDogs grew out of the Guide Dog Foundation and are experts in breeding, raising and training dogs, so the extension to dog products is a natural one,” says Michelle Alfandari, president and chief executive officer of MODA Licensing. “This expertise combined with the reputation of Vo-Toys for high-quality, creative and well-priced dog toys and accessories is a major win for retailers and consumers.
